the Pelican Fly camp is steadily becoming the label to watch with their brand of next level future club. Mister Tweeks who is co-founder of the label, and quite possibly my favorite producer at the moment, just dropped this mix. It’s a blazingly briliant tour de force; succinctly summing up the Pelican sound.
The Showcase Mix Series just dropped the latest mix by Seattles own Blondzie .Vol 5. is a hot one and features blondzie goin in on some of the best electro and indie dance bangers from the last few years. Stream it below!
To give a little taste of what’s in-store for the next POW WOW on October 1st, we had ASTRONOMAR come through with this quickie mix. It’s 10 minutes of bangin’ dutch electro house. (Actually the mini-mix is 10min, 1sec. which is also the date of the show! 10.01.10)
Give a listen!

I think that “Heart It Races”, upon it’s release in 2007, is one of the songs which helped to usher in a global aesthetic into the music zeitgeist. We are now consciously feeling its effects. It’s this exceptionally creative moment and sound that I attempt to celebrate with this mix.
My inspiration for this mix was to showcase the freshest sounds from the last 6 mo. in a format that was both danceable and highly listenable, suitable for bangin in your maserati with the top down. Enjoy! – Spirit Fingaz
This mix was recorded in my apartment the other day. I think this mix strikes a good balance between what’s fun to listen too and whats fun to hear out at a party; making it a more listenable affair than a lot of the mixes i hear…So, have a listen…
Digging deep in the archives now, here’s a genre-spanning mix i did in the summer of ’06 using Traktor software and an Ozone midi keyboard (recorded live at the jazz club, the triple door in downtown Seattle). I’ve improved right!
downtempo -> hip hop -> electro funk -> disco -> electro house and back! Awesome!
expect a new downtempo styled mix like this one coming soon…
